Intuit Inc., known for its financial technology solutions like TurboTax and QuickBooks, has announced the national expansion of its IDEAS accelerator program. This initiative, in collaboration with the National Urban League, now opens doors for small business owners in nine U.S. cities and a special nationwide cohort for veterans and military spouse entrepreneurs. The program, which has already shown promising results in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, reports participants achieving a 23% average revenue increase and saving 16.5 hours monthly through access to Intuit's AI-driven tools and expert coaching.
David Graham, Intuit's Senior Vice President of Customer Success, praised the program's innovative approach to elevating small businesses. The expansion targets 250 additional entrepreneurs in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, New York City, and San Diego, alongside a dedicated group for military veterans and spouses. Marc H. Morial of the National Urban League highlighted the program's importance in tackling common small business hurdles like funding and capital access, combining Intuit's tech prowess with the League's extensive small business support experience.
IDEAS participants benefit from free access to Intuit's financial platforms, including TurboTax and QuickBooks, alongside business coaching, technology grants, and a cash grant post-program completion. Emilio Daniel Vasquez, CEO of Coffee Cart Boys and a program alumnus, credits IDEAS with pivotal growth and confidence-building in his entrepreneurial path. Applications are open until July 21, 2025, for eligible business owners in the specified cities and veteran or military spouse entrepreneurs across the country.
