The Icelandic Hemp Association is organizing the Hemp for the Future 2025 conference at Reykjavík's Iðnó venue, bringing together more than 200 international leaders and experts. The event, featuring Jamie Pearson, Founder of the New Holland Group, as the keynote speaker, will delve into topics such as industrial hemp, medical cannabis, and the legalization and policy surrounding these areas. Through panels and workshops, the conference seeks to enhance understanding and foster collaboration.
Þórunn Jónsdóttir, the Conference Coordinator, highlights the event's goal to not only advance knowledge in the hemp and cannabis sectors but also to contribute to ecosystem regeneration and community empowerment. Additional pre-conference workshops, including 'Cannabis Queens' and a 'Farmers’ Workshop', will address the involvement of women in the industry and offer hands-on cultivation advice.
