Loop, an insurance and healthcare company focused on improving the health span of working Indians, has announced the appointment of Harpreet Singh Rai, former CEO of Oura, as its President, Healthcare. Rai's leadership at Oura was instrumental in the launch of its 2nd and 3rd generation rings, showcasing his decade-long expertise in preventive health solutions. This move is strategic for Loop, aiming to extend the healthy years of India's workforce through innovative healthcare products.
Mayank Kale, Co-founder and CEO of Loop, highlighted Rai's unique blend of skills in engineering, investing, and health leadership as pivotal for scaling preventive health initiatives beyond corporate settings. Rai's previous roles include technology portfolio management at Eminence Capital, with a focus on healthcare and technology investments, and starting his career in Morgan Stanley’s M&A group, underscoring his comprehensive background in the sector.
Rai shared his excitement about joining Loop, praising the company's innovative approach to making healthcare more accessible and engaging for millions of working Indians. Supported by notable investors such as Y Combinator and Khosla Ventures, Loop is pioneering the integration of insurance with primary care and data-driven prevention strategies to transform corporate healthcare in India.
