Alsco Uniforms has acquired Topper Linen, marking a significant expansion in the Greater Toronto Area and bolstering its service offerings across various sectors. Bob Steiner, CEO of Alsco Uniforms, emphasized the acquisition's role in strengthening community relationships and trust. The transition will see Topper's Toronto facility and fleet rebranded under Alsco Uniforms, ensuring no disruption to operations or employment, thereby maintaining service continuity and leveraging local expertise.
This strategic move increases Alsco's Toronto laundry facilities to two, enhancing its capacity to serve businesses in industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and food and beverage sectors. Jim Kearns, Alsco's chief operating officer, views the acquisition as a foundation for future growth in Toronto, with plans to expand sales and service teams across North America. Alsco Uniforms, with over 80 mixed-processing facilities in North America, continues to lead in providing hygienically clean uniforms and linens.
