Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation and Peapack Private Bank & Trust have announced the appointment of Blerina Limaj as Senior Managing Director and Group Director, a move that significantly bolsters their commercial banking team in New York. Limaj, who will be based at the Bank’s Manhattan office on 300 Park Avenue, brings a robust background in commercial real estate, deposit relationship management, and leading high-performing teams to her new role.
Her previous position as Senior Vice President and Group Director at Customers Bank saw her play a pivotal role in assembling a diverse team to grow the bank’s deposit base. At Signature Bank/Flagstar Bank, Limaj co-led a team managing deposits over $3 billion for real estate firms, showcasing her ability to handle large-scale portfolios. Her early career at North Fork Bank/Capital One Bank involved managing private banking relationships with assets exceeding $1 billion, further demonstrating her expertise in the financial sector.
Limaj holds an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from Brooklyn College. Her academic achievements, combined with her professional experience, are expected to significantly contribute to Peapack Private's offerings in areas such as treasury and cash management services, and trade finance, aligning with the bank's dedication to providing customized financial solutions.
