FORVIA HELLA is set to sponsor the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), a move that underscores its dedication to advancing automotive technology and enhancing brand visibility in sectors like brake systems. The company will sponsor the Time Attack 1 Division and introduce two new awards, the HELLA Hype Award and the HELLA Heritage Award, to recognize outstanding achievements by teams and drivers.
Robb Holland, an experienced racer, will compete in a HELLA-sponsored 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Cup car, equipped with JRZ active dampers for the demanding course. This marks a historic moment as Holland's run will be the first at PPIHC to be livestreamed globally via Starlink, offering real-time access to the event.
Clint Vahsholtz, another notable competitor, will drive a HELLA-sponsored 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. With a strong track record, including wins in the 2025 Pirelli GT America and GT4 America championships, Vahsholtz is a key contender for the Pikes Peak GT4 Trophy by Yokohama.
The HELLA Hype Award will involve fan participation, allowing votes for their preferred driver during Fan Fest, with a $2000 prize for the winner. The HELLA Heritage Award, also offering a $2000 cash prize, will honor the driver with the most finishes in the race's history, celebrating enduring success at Pikes Peak.
Robert Tinson, Vice President at HELLA, emphasized the synergy between the company's 125-year engineering legacy and the innovative, enduring spirit of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This partnership reflects HELLA's ambition to lead in automotive technology and performance, reinforcing its industry leadership.
