SEGG Media Corporation (NASDAQ: SEGG, LTRYW) has entered into a significant five-year, $11.6 million commercial agreement with Super League Kerala (SLK), marking its first football league partnership in India. The deal, concluded in Dubai, grants SEGG Media and its Sports.com super app exclusive global commercial and broadcast rights to SLK, encompassing international streaming, gaming integration, sponsorship, and distribution initiatives targeting the Keralite diaspora. After Season 1 drew close to 13 million viewers, this collaboration is expected to elevate SLK's global viewership by 25% and enhance revenue streams via subscriptions, advertising, and licensing.
This partnership highlights SEGG Media's strategic foray into the Indian market, utilizing its technology at the crossroads of sports, entertainment, and gaming. By incorporating SLK into the Sports.com platform, SEGG Media seeks to improve fan interaction through engaging experiences, responsible gaming, and AI-powered live content. This initiative not only extends SEGG Media's global presence but also creates new opportunities for revenue and audience expansion in the dynamic digital sports arena.
