Energy Fuels Inc. has announced a record production of 258,745 pounds of U₃O₈ from its Pinyon Plain mine in Arizona, a 71% increase from the previous month, highlighting its enhanced uranium extraction capabilities essential for carbon-free nuclear energy. The company also updated its Technical Report for the Bullfrog Project in Utah, showing a 15% increase in Indicated uranium resources and a 70% rise in Inferred resources, with projections for a 15-year mine life, signaling significant growth potential for the U.S. uranium sector.
In efforts to bolster the domestic nuclear fuel industry, Energy Fuels is expediting permitting for its Roca Honda project in New Mexico, now listed on the federal FAST-41 dashboard, and has restarted operations at its EZ Complex in Arizona. These steps are in line with recent Executive Orders focused on reviving the U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain. The company's progress is timely, addressing the escalating global demand for clean energy and positioning Energy Fuels as a key player in achieving the U.S.'s energy independence and environmental objectives. Its White Mesa Mill in Utah stands as the sole fully licensed and operational conventional uranium processing facility in the nation, uniquely equipping it to cater to the nuclear energy sector's expanding requirements.
