The Pacific Marine Expo (PME), the West Coast's largest commercial marine trade show, is set to take place in Seattle this November, offering a unique opportunity for maritime professionals to explore the latest industry innovations and sustainable solutions. Scheduled from November 20-22 at the Lumen Field Event Center, the event will bring together thousands of attendees for three days of networking, educational sessions, and celebrations of maritime achievements.
This year's expo introduces several programming enhancements, including the WorkBoat West area, which focuses on shipyard operations, vessel construction, and repair. A collaboration with Washington Maritime Blue will feature the Maritime Blue Innovation Hub, spotlighting sustainable technologies that are transforming the maritime economy. Significant updates to the event include the reimagined National Fisherman Highliner Awards, now a ticketed dinner ceremony to honor leaders in commercial fishing. The Alaska Marine Safety Education Association will also present a Fishing Vessel Stability Workshop, providing hands-on learning for professionals. Educational content, free to attendees, will feature keynote speeches, technical sessions, and workshops curated by National Fisherman.
The expo will also host the Expo Market Center, showcasing maritime art and local artisan goods, alongside product demonstrations and the popular Alaska Hall. Emphasizing workforce development, the event partners with the Port of Seattle to introduce maritime high school students to career opportunities in the sector. The 2025 Pacific Marine Expo stands as a pivotal event for the maritime industry, fostering innovation, community, and the next generation of maritime professionals.
