The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) has opened submissions for the 2025 National ¡BRAVO! Awards, a prestigious event that honors outstanding achievements in multicultural communications. This year's theme, "Rooted in Purpose," highlights the association's dedication to celebrating campaigns that are not only creative and effective but also deeply connected to Latino culture and identity. With 16 categories, including Agency of the Year and specialized sectors like Technology and Social Equity, the awards aim to recognize the breadth and depth of multicultural communications.
Entries for the awards must have been executed between January 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, and will be judged by a panel of seasoned communications professionals. HPRA National President Sonia V. Diaz remarked on the awards' role in acknowledging the community's influence and the importance of culturally grounded work in advancing the communications industry. The submission process offers three deadlines: early bird by June 6, 2025, standard by July 11, 2025, and late by August 8, 2025, with finalists announced on September 16, 2025, and the awards gala set for November 13, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois.
Now in its eleventh year, the ¡BRAVO! Awards continue to be a vital platform for showcasing innovative campaigns that authentically represent Latino experiences, contributing to a more inclusive and diverse communications field. The awards not only celebrate excellence but also encourage the industry to embrace and uplift Latino heritage and influence through purposeful and impactful communications.
