Verizon has announced a transformative expansion of its consumer business strategy, introducing a series of guarantees aimed at delivering enhanced value and predictability to its customers. This strategic move positions Verizon as a pioneer in the telecommunications industry, offering unique benefits across its mobile and home network plans. The initiative is built around three main innovations designed to redefine customer expectations and loyalty.
The first innovation is Verizon's introduction of a three-year price lock guarantee on all myPlan and myHome network plans. This guarantee ensures that the core monthly service prices for enrolled customers will remain unchanged for three years, with the lock resetting upon any plan modifications. This feature is automatically applied to existing customers, providing them with unprecedented pricing stability in an often volatile market.
Secondly, Verizon is rolling out a free phone and home router guarantee. This benefit allows both new and existing customers to receive a free phone when trading in devices from leading manufacturers such as Apple, Google, or Samsung, irrespective of the device's condition. Additionally, every myHome plan will now include a home internet router at no extra cost, further enhancing the value proposition for Verizon's home internet subscribers.
The third pillar of Verizon's strategy focuses on delivering multiple savings opportunities to its customers. These include free satellite text messaging on qualifying devices and savings of over 40% on popular streaming services like Netflix, Max, Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Customers who bundle myPlan and myHome services can enjoy additional monthly discounts, making Verizon's offerings even more attractive.
