Motel 6, a subsidiary of G6 Hospitality, is poised to open a new 295-room hotel near the Las Vegas Strip in May 2025. This development, owned by S.R.E Enterprises LLC, stands as one of the largest in the company's portfolio, strategically located just over a mile from the heart of Las Vegas's entertainment district. The hotel will offer modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, free parking, and an outdoor pool, alongside exclusive access to the OYO Hotel and Casino, aiming to elevate the guest experience.
The timing of this expansion aligns with a period of strong tourism growth in Las Vegas, which attracted approximately 41.7 million visitors in 2024, including 3.4 million in December alone. This surge underscores the city's continued appeal as a premier travel destination. In response, G6 Hospitality is investing $10 million in marketing efforts to boost brand engagement and customer adoption. Key initiatives include enhancing the company's website and My6 app, with ambitious targets to significantly increase app installations by the summer and leverage advanced digital marketing strategies through collaborations with tech giants like Google and Microsoft.
Following its acquisition by OYO from Blackstone Real Estate, G6 Hospitality is embarking on an aggressive growth strategy, planning to add more than 150 hotels under the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in 2025. This expansion will focus on high-demand markets such as Texas, California, Georgia, and Arizona. Additionally, the company has partnered with HotelKey, a leading hospitality technology provider, to upgrade its technological infrastructure across properties in the United States and Canada, further solidifying its competitive edge.
Motel 6 and Studio 6's commitment to excellence has been recognized in the 2024 Entrepreneur Franchise 500® report, with Motel 6 securing a spot in the top 50. G6 Hospitality, headquartered in Carrollton, Texas, was also honored as a 2024 Leader in Diversity by the Dallas Business Journal, highlighting its dedication to inclusivity and innovation in the hospitality industry.
