This patent, granted in November 2023, covers the second-generation design of the ZenaDrone 1000, introducing significant improvements in flight times and payload capacity. The patent (US D1,005,883 S) includes innovative designs for rotating arms that allow rotors to operate at different angles, utilizing wind for gliding and power preservation, which is expected to substantially extend flight times.
Furthermore, the patent encompasses a larger, more aerodynamic body design, increasing the drone's payload capacity from 20 lbs. to an impressive 80 lbs. These enhancements are set to revolutionize the drone's utility across various sectors, including agriculture, defense, oil and gas, and utilities, by improving performance in cargo carrying, spraying, seeding, and accommodating specialized hardware attachments for specific applications.
