Chevo, a women-owned small business known for its management consulting expertise, has been selected as one of six awardees for a substantial contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), potentially worth up to $300 million over five years, will see Chevo providing non-IT consulting support services to the IRS's Wage & Investment division, now referred to as Taxpayer Services. The contract was awarded through the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), highlighting Chevo's longstanding relationship with the IRS since its inception in 2002.
Under this agreement, Chevo is tasked with delivering a wide array of management consulting services. These include strategic planning, organizational studies, business process improvement, and regulatory compliance, among others. The overarching aim is to support the IRS in its mission to enhance taxpayer services, streamline operations, and improve workforce performance. Zaina Sahady, CEO of Chevo, remarked on the honor of continuing their 22-year partnership with the IRS, emphasizing their commitment to aiding the agency in achieving its strategic objectives.
