The Parent Coaching Institute (PCI) has launched a new initiative titled 'Why I PCI', designed to elevate the visibility and comprehension of parent coaching services among families. This innovative project will feature a collection of short videos produced by the instructors, graduates, and students of PCI's renowned Parent Coach Certification® Program. Gloria DeGaetano, PCI's founder and CEO, highlighted the initiative's necessity, pointing out the persistent lack of awareness about parent coaching among potential beneficiaries. 'Why I PCI' aims to bridge this gap permanently.
Emily Schweppe, PCI's Communications Coordinator and the creative force behind 'Why I PCI', shared the initiative's foundational idea, emphasizing the importance of aligning one's life and work with core values for a sense of purpose. The videos are set to illustrate the varied methodologies and specialized knowledge of PCI's family support professionals, underlining the benefits of PCI's program, which has been acclaimed by Life Coach Magazine as the leading choice for parent coach training.
PCI Certified Parent Coaches® employ evidence-based strategies and a thoroughly researched coaching framework to assist families in recognizing new possibilities. The 'Why I PCI' initiative will visually convey the inspiration, positivity, and motivation that define the coaching approach of PCI's community, offering parents a tangible glimpse into the potential transformations awaiting them. Schweppe also noted the initiative's secondary benefit of bolstering the businesses of PCI graduates by connecting them with parents in search of support.
PCI's graduate-level training program, offered in collaboration with Southern New Hampshire University and available through distance learning, is now open for applications for the Summer Term starting in June.
