Ariana Resources plc (LON:AAU) has recently announced an updated resource and reserve for its Zenit Mining Operations, which includes the Kiziltepe and Tavsan sectors. Since its inception in 2017, the Kiziltepe Sector has been a significant contributor, producing 151,000 ounces of gold and 1.68 million ounces of silver. The global JORC resource now totals 10.9 million tonnes, encompassing 483,000 ounces of gold and 4.45 million ounces of silver, with potential for further expansion. Dr. Sener elaborated on the company's strategy of integrating the Kiziltepe and Tavsan sectors for optimized ore processing, a plan that was first envisioned in 2009. With the recent surge in gold prices, Ariana Resources is reevaluating its pit designs and processing methods to enhance the longevity and efficiency of its operations.
