The Araromi Beach Project and Shekina City Project represent ambitious blueprints for self-sustaining communities that combine luxury, culture, innovation, and empowerment along Nigeria's coastline. Spearheaded by H.E. Amb. Rachael O. Ologodidan under the Ologo Didan Jezi Foundation Global Project and presented by the Shekina City of Help Ministry, these developments aim to set new standards for African coastal development while creating destinations that enrich lives.
The Araromi Beach Project promises to become a world-class luxury destination featuring ocean-view chalets, boutique hotels for honeymooners, infinity pools, spas, beach bars, and fine dining establishments. Beyond leisure facilities, the project incorporates water sports, yacht cruises, and seaside recreation to create an atmosphere where lifestyle meets adventure. Cultural integration is central to the vision, with plans for an amphitheater, art gallery, mini museum, and culture café ensuring visitors experience both hospitality and heritage.
Both projects place culture at the heart of community life through concerts, festivals, and exhibitions in purpose-built spaces. A film village and creative centers will serve as hubs for Nollywood and African storytelling, making the developments platforms for creativity and cultural identity that celebrate African pride. These cultural investments transform what might otherwise be conventional real estate projects into vibrant centers of artistic expression.
Education forms a cornerstone of Shekina City's vision, with institutions planned from nursery to university level, including embedded vocational training to prepare future generations with knowledge, innovation, and employable skills. Healthcare receives equal priority through planned hospitals, medical centers, and wellness facilities designed to ensure comprehensive well-being. Social services including an orphanage, food banks, and worship centers will foster inclusivity, compassion, and spiritual balance within the communities.
Economic stimulation is engineered into both projects through banks, microfinance institutions, shopping malls, and cooperative societies that will power local economic activity. Modern estates will provide quality housing for families, while infrastructure such as access roads, helipads, cable cars, police stations, and lifeguard towers ensure safety, connectivity, and long-term sustainability. Business spaces, including the OJF Global offices, anchor the vision with opportunities for entrepreneurship and investment.
Recreational amenities include family-friendly attractions like waterparks, playgrounds, and splash zones alongside sporting arenas, golf courses, and multi-sport facilities designed for all ages. These features ensure residents and visitors can enjoy balanced lifestyles blending activity, leisure, and relaxation. The projects stand as transformative models demonstrating what modern African coastal development can achieve when luxury meets legacy, culture meets commerce, and community meets sustainability.
