Taylor Meredith has opened her new salon, Styled by Binky, located in Suite #216 of the Salon and Spa Galleria at 5100 W. Sublett Road in Arlington. With more than a decade of experience and a talent for creative styling, Meredith brings extensive knowledge and expertise to serve clients in the Arlington area and surrounding communities. The salon's opening represents the continuation of a lifelong passion for hairstyling that began in childhood. Meredith first developed her interest while watching her father work in his own barbershop, describing how she picked it up naturally from observing his craft.
Her skills evolved from braiding for friends and family to developing a comprehensive range of styling techniques that now serve men, women, and children. Styled by Binky operates Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with appointments available through online booking or by texting (682) 374-7803. The salon offers flexibility with Monday and Sunday appointments available when needed, though these off-hours bookings are subject to a surcharge. Beyond traditional salon services, Meredith offers educational opportunities for clients interested in developing their own braiding skills.
She provides a two-hour one-on-one class featuring hands-on learning from parting to braiding. Participants learn five specific skills of their choosing and must bring a family member, friend, or other willing participant to practice on during the hands-on session.
