The H2APEX Group SCA announced an upward revision of its revenue forecast for the full year 2025, now projecting €9 million to €10 million compared to the previous range of €6 million to €8 million. This adjustment reflects the initial positive effects of the company's strategic focus on expanding its own hydrogen production capacities and providing services to external customers. CEO Peter RoBner stated that the increased revenue forecast serves as validation of the company's strategic direction, explaining that it represents a clear first sign that the company made the right decision with its focus on expanding hydrogen production capacities and external services.
The company has made significant progress during the first nine months of 2025, with the strategic partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners representing a milestone in expanding hydrogen production capabilities. The joint IPCEI-funded project with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in Lubmin has contributed significantly to the unexpected revenue increase. This project, for which H2APEX has provided initial project development services, is expected to have a capacity of 100 MW in its first expansion stage. Beyond this major collaboration, the company plans to implement hydrogen projects with smaller production capacities, utilizing decentralized, small-volume plants to meet existing hydrogen demand without requiring pipeline connections.
In the medium to long term, H2APEX expects the majority of its revenue to come from operating its own plants, aiming to ensure greater revenue stability, predictable cash flow, and improved scalability. This approach creates a solid foundation for sustainable long-term growth in the emerging green hydrogen market. The company also identifies additional revenue potential through providing services to external customers and joint ventures, including operation and maintenance of hydrogen plants and project development. H2APEX continues to develop its own hydrogen storage solutions to enable efficient transport of this raw material, addressing one of the key challenges in hydrogen infrastructure.
The company's expanded activities include energy and asset management, development of storage and transport solutions, and operations and maintenance services. The interim report for the first three quarters of the 2025 financial year will be published as planned on November 24, 2025, providing further details on the company's performance and strategic progress.
