AmpliTech Group Receives Over $2 Million in Follow-On Orders Under MNO Letter of Intent

AmpliTech Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMPG, AMPGR, AMPGZ) has received follow-on orders exceeding $2 million under a previously announced Letter of Intent (LOI) with a North American mobile network operator (MNO), the company said Tuesday. The orders represent incremental demand beyond initially anticipated volumes, driven by ongoing requirements for the radio configuration currently being delivered during the second quarter.

For the period from January 1 through the end of April 2026, the company reported bookings exceeding $8 million across its business segments, bringing its total backlog to over $20 million. The follow-on orders contribute to operational visibility for 2026 and support the company's focus on converting pipeline opportunities into revenue, according to Fawad Maqbool, CEO and CTO of AmpliTech Group.

“We are encouraged by the continued order activity under this previously announced LOI, particularly as these new follow-on orders represent demand beyond the originally anticipated volumes, with deliveries expected to extend into fiscal year 2026,” Maqbool said. “This additional demand reflects the customer’s continued evaluation and utilization of our technology and our ability to support deployment requirements.”

The company, which designs and manufactures RF microwave components and ORAN 5G network solutions, serves markets including satellite communications, telecommunications, space exploration, defense, and quantum computing. The orders were disclosed via a news release distributed by Prism MediaWire.

The announcement follows a period of resumed shipments to the customer during the current quarter. Maqbool noted that the orders provide “operational visibility for 2026” and align with the company’s strategy to convert its pipeline into revenue. The total backlog of over $20 million includes orders from multiple business segments, including AmpliTech Inc., Specialty Microwave, Spectrum Semiconductors Materials, and others.

AmpliTech Group’s financial performance and order flow are closely watched by investors in the RF and 5G component space. The company’s stock trades on the Nasdaq under the symbols AMPG, AMPGR, and AMPGZ. The latest news and updates are available on the company’s newsroom.
