The project aimed to replace aging on-premises infrastructure with a cloud environment to enhance inventory visibility, financial reporting, and operational scalability.
The recycling organization manages scrap metals, electronics, vehicles, and consumer recyclables, coordinating daily material intake, outbound shipments, procurement, and financial operations. Its previous on-premises NAV system created limitations in reporting, system maintenance, scalability, and Microsoft 365 connectivity. The upgraded cloud environment now provides structured workflows, dependable inventory tracking, cleaner operational coordination, and improved reporting visibility across departments handling recycling operations. The implementation also reduced reliance on spreadsheets and eliminated several server-related maintenance concerns tied to the previous infrastructure.
