At its inaugural THE Global Convention in Belgrade, Serbia, travel membership company inCruises announced two new product categories: inTrips, a collection of curated land-based vacations, and River Cruises through partnerships with AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises. The move marks the broadest expansion of the company's offerings since its founding in 2016, according to the announcement first reported by NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE.
inTrips are multi-day land vacations designed by travel experts who research each destination and assemble accommodations, transfers, transportation, sightseeing, tours, excursions, attractions, and free time into a single itinerary. The category launches first in the United Arab Emirates, beginning with Dubai, historically inCruises' most popular destination. Initial options include 5- and 7-day vacations, a Dubai-only option, and a Dubai + Abu Dhabi + Ras Al Khaimah option, with features such as Dubai Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing with Burj Khalifa admission, desert dinner safari experiences, and Abu Dhabi city tours on select 7-day itineraries. The first inTrips are expected to become available in late 2026, with additional destinations planned.
For inCruises members, inTrips offers two ways to reduce costs: INsider Pricing for 17% off the retail price and the ability to apply Reward Points at significant ratios similar to eligible cruises, covering up to 50% of qualifying bookings, with opportunities for up to 100% through All Reward Points and qualifying Elite Travel Advantages. "We wanted Reward Points to feel useful year-round, not just when someone is booking a cruise. inTrips makes that possible by putting points to work toward a complete vacation experience," said Anthony Varvaro, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Finance Officer at inCruises.
The River Cruises expansion introduces a different style of travel with smaller ships on intimate waterways, providing immersive access to inland destinations. Through partnerships with AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises, members will gain access to waterways across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, including the Danube, Rhine, Seine, Rhône, Douro, Mekong, Nile, Chobe, and Magdalena. "River cruising opens a completely different relationship with a destination. Instead of simply arriving at a port, travelers can experience the heart of a region as they journey along its rivers," said Tatiana Wegzyn, Commercial Partnerships Manager at inCruises.
The announcements bring inCruises' portfolio to its most comprehensive point yet, now including ocean cruises, river cruises, inStays hotels and resorts, inTours activities, and inTrips land vacations. Since 2016, inCruises has booked more than 770,000 guests and offers access to nearly 200,000 cruise, hotel, and resort options worldwide through a platform available in 17 languages.
For industry observers, the expansion signals a strategic push to capture a larger share of the travel market by catering to members who seek diverse vacation experiences beyond ocean cruising. It also intensifies competition in the subscription travel space, where retaining members depends on continually adding value and flexibility. For travelers, the new options mean more ways to use accumulated Reward Points and access to land and river experiences at discounted rates, potentially making multi-destination trips more affordable and easier to plan. As inCruises continues to broaden its reach, the move could pressure other travel clubs to diversify their offerings similarly.
