OLB Completes Management Board Appointments, Positioning Bank for Next Phase

Oldenburgische Landesbank AG (OLB) has completed the previously announced reconstitution of its Management Board, effective October 1, 2026. The appointments, made by the Supervisory Board in coordination with supervisory authorities, bring new leadership to three key roles: Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Investment Officer. The move is part of OLB's strategic efforts to position itself for future growth and underscores the bank's commitment to maintaining a robust leadership team amid a dynamic banking landscape.

Michael Fust has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Dr. Rainer Polster, who left the bank upon the expiry of his mandate on September 30, 2026. Fust, who was appointed General Representative of OLB in January 2026 and reported to Dr. Polster, brings extensive experience from his 16-year tenure at audit firm KPMG and his subsequent role as Head of Finance at TARGO Deutschland GmbH, which he joined in July 2016.

Annett Daldrup takes over as Chief Risk Officer. She had been acting as a General Representative of OLB since July 2026 and also served as a General Representative of TARGO Deutschland GmbH since March 2026. Daldrup joined TARGOBANK in January 2025 as Chief Credit Officer Corporate Lending, where she was responsible for credit risk management in the corporate banking business. Her prior experience includes positions at Airbus Bank GmbH and UniCredit Bank AG.

Chris Eggert, previously Chief Risk Officer, has assumed the role of Chief Investment Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for cash flow-based financing activities within the Corporates & Diversified Lending segment, which includes Corporates, Acquisition Finance, Football Finance, Fund Finance, Export Finance, and Financing Solutions. Eggert, who was appointed Chief Risk Officer in June 2022 and had headed Credit Risk Management since 2018, is expected to continue driving the expansion of this segment. As a result of these changes, OLB's Management Board now consists of Christophe Jehan (Chief Executive Officer), Annett Daldrup (Chief Risk Officer), Chris Eggert (Chief Investment Officer), Michael Fust (Chief Financial Officer), and Dr. Andreas Houben (Chief Sales Officer). Additionally, Christian Bessenroth, a General Representative since April 2026, completes the Management Team and is responsible for asset-based financing activities within the Corporates & Diversified Lending segment, reporting to Chris Eggert.

Isabelle Chevelard, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of OLB, commented, “With its proven leadership and complementary areas of expertise, OLB’s Management Team is ideally positioned to lead the Bank into its next phase of development.” The appointments are significant for OLB as it continues to integrate into the Credit Mutuel Alliance Federale group, one of Europe's largest and financially strongest banking groups, following its acquisition by TARGO Deutschland GmbH in January 2026. OLB, a universal bank with over 150 years of history in north-west Germany, serves about one million customers through its OLB and Bankhaus Neelmeyer brands, operating a network of 80 branches and employing around 1,700 people. With total assets exceeding EUR 30 billion, OLB became a significant financial institution in early 2025 and is directly supervised by the European Central Bank.
