Vingroup has climbed 11 spots to rank 26th in Fortune's 2026 Southeast Asia 500 list, up from 37th in 2025, marking the second consecutive year of advancement for the Vietnamese conglomerate. The group remains the highest-ranked private enterprise in Vietnam, according to the annual ranking published by Fortune.
The Fortune Southeast Asia 500, now in its third year, ranks companies across seven countries—Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Cambodia—based on total revenue. Vingroup's rise of 19 places from 45th in 2024 underscores its growing scale, competitiveness, and sustainable growth momentum within the region.
For the 2026 ranking, Vingroup reported revenue of USD 12,760.6 million in 2025, a 69.1% year-on-year increase. Net profit stood at USD 436.5 million, and total assets reached USD 42,536.4 million. Fortune recognized the group's financial performance and operational efficiency, noting that companies in this year's list are well positioned to capitalize on shifts in global supply chains and rapid growth in strategic industries such as electric vehicles and artificial intelligence.
Vingroup operates across six pillars: Industrials-Technology, Real Estate and Services, Infrastructure, Green Energy, Culture, and Social Enterprises. Under Industrials-Technology, VinFast delivered nearly 200,000 electric vehicles worldwide in 2025, up 102% year-on-year, exceeding its annual target. In the first quarter of 2026, VinFast delivered 58,577 EVs, a 61% increase over the same period last year.
In Real Estate and Services, Vinhomes maintained its market-leading position with 32 residential developments housing approximately 650,000 residents. In 2025, Vinhomes recorded contracted sales of VND 205.3 trillion, up 98% year-on-year, and delivered more than 34,000 units. Its unrecognized contracted sales backlog reached VND 186.4 trillion, providing a solid foundation for future growth. New large-scale urban developments launched in 2026 include Vinhomes Global Gate Ha Long (6,200 hectares), Vinhomes Hai Van Bay (512 hectares), and Vinhomes Saigon Park (1,080 hectares).
Vinpearl continued to lead Vietnam's hospitality and tourism sector, operating 60 facilities across 20 provinces and cities, including over 17,500 hotel rooms, 15 theme parks, six golf courses, and three convention centers. Under the Infrastructure pillar, VinSpeed began construction of Vietnam's first two high-speed rail projects: the Ben Thanh-Can Gio line in Ho Chi Minh City and the Hanoi-Quang Ninh line, launched in April 2026 as the country's first interregional high-speed railway.
In Green Energy, VinEnergo announced expansion plans across Asia and Europe, backed by a renewable energy pipeline of 10 GW with secured development agreements. VinUniversity became the youngest university in Vietnam to receive the FIBAA Quality Seal in March 2026, while Vinmec inaugurated its 10th hospital. In May 2026, Vingroup launched V-Film, a film and television production and distribution company under its Culture pillar, aiming to develop a professional Vietnamese film industry.
Looking ahead, Vingroup said it remains committed to accelerating core business activities, leveraging its diversified ecosystem, and expanding its international presence to achieve its 2026 targets and strengthen its position as a leading regional enterprise.
