Rainmaker Worldwide Inc., through its subsidiary Miranda Water Technologies, has marked a significant achievement with the deployment of a fully containerized Seawater to Tap system at Northwest Point Condominiums in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. This innovative system transforms seawater with salinity levels over 40,000 PPM into high-quality drinking water, having already generated more than 2 million litres in just four months, thereby securing a dependable water supply for the area's residents and visitors.
The R/OCell® system's design emphasizes quick deployment and operational adaptability, featuring SmartCell remote monitoring for streamlined management. This project reflects Rainmaker's dedication to creating decentralized, energy-efficient water solutions, especially for remote and island communities grappling with water scarcity.
Chris Potts, Chairman of Northwest Point Condominiums, praised the system for its contribution to enhancing local infrastructure and guaranteeing access to safe drinking water. Michael O’Connor, Chairman and CEO of Rainmaker Worldwide Inc., credited the success of the project to fruitful local collaborations, notably with Been Construction Ltd. This initiative is a key part of Rainmaker's wider strategy to bolster water infrastructure resilience in the region.
