This project, developed alongside Wentworth Property Company, is located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone within the South University District. Highmark offers a variety of housing options, from single-bedroom apartments to three-story townhomes, designed to meet the needs of families and students near Montana State University and Downtown Bozeman.
Jason Glasser, Managing Director at Clarion Partners, pointed to Bozeman's unique blend of outdoor lifestyle and burgeoning education and technology sectors as pivotal reasons for the investment. The development seeks to alleviate the pressing demand for affordable housing in a region experiencing rising home prices. Highmark's residences come with contemporary amenities such as quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, alongside community facilities like a fitness center and dog park, aiming to improve residents' quality of life.
This investment is part of Clarion Partners' strategy to focus on Qualified Opportunity Zones and adjacent submarkets, with a substantial portfolio nationwide. The initiative not only supports the local economy but also introduces essential housing solutions to Bozeman's tight market.
