The 57th Annual Bell Ringer Awards, hosted by the PR Club, gathered over 200 public relations and communications professionals at the Museum of Science in Boston, showcasing a return to pre-pandemic attendance levels. Emmy-nominated journalist Emily Schario hosted the event, which celebrated the region's most impactful PR campaigns and the individuals behind them. PR Club President Kaitlynn Cooney emphasized the event's significance, marking its first occurrence at the Museum of Science.
Agencies like Duffy & Shanley, RDW Group, and 360PR+ were among the top winners, with 360PR+ receiving the Platinum Super Bell Award for their CarGurus campaign. The evening also honored individual contributions, with Amy Shanler receiving the John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement Award, Erin Fennell of V2 Communications the Striker Award, and Julianna Sheridan of Matter Communications the Ringer Award. A new accolade, the Carillonneur Professional Award for workplace culture, was introduced, with V2 Communications as the first recipient.
The event also supported CommonWealth Kitchen, raising over $1,000 for the nonprofit that aids underrepresented food entrepreneurs. Sponsored by generous contributors, the Bell Ringer Awards underscore the PR community's dedication to excellence and its pivotal role in narrative shaping and societal change.
