Clarion Partners, LLC has secured a lease agreement with MEI Industrial Solutions for 161,200 square feet at 500 Denmark Drive within the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC), facilitating MEI's significant expansion in Northern Nevada. This strategic location offers MEI enhanced service capabilities through both indoor and outdoor storage spaces, catering to its data center and manufacturing clientele and reinforcing its extensive network across the United States.
The 322,000-square-foot Class A facility at 500 Denmark Drive is a key component of TRIC, one of the globe's largest industrial parks. Clarion Partners' acquisition of this property in July 2024 not only expanded its industrial presence in the Reno area to over 1.7 million square feet but also marked its inaugural investment in Sparks, NV, a dynamic submarket recognized as a Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ).
Jason Glasser, Managing Director at Clarion Partners, highlighted the strategic importance of Reno as a high-growth market with excellent transportation access, underscoring the mutual benefits of the partnership with MEI. This collaboration not only strengthens Clarion's industrial portfolio but also boosts MEI's operational efficiency in a critical region.
With a robust portfolio that includes significant investments in QOZs and adjacent markets, Clarion Partners continues to demonstrate its leadership in industrial real estate. The firm's global industrial team manages around 1,000 properties spanning the U.S. and Europe, totaling more than 250 million square feet. The lease agreement with MEI Industrial Solutions at TRIC is a testament to Clarion's strategic investment approach and its dedication to supporting growth in promising markets.
