LaFleur Minerals Inc. has initiated a 5,000-meter diamond drill program at its Swanson Gold Project in Québec’s Abitibi Gold Belt, following encouraging exploration results such as high-grade grab samples up to 11.7 g/t Au. This effort is part of the company's plan to restart its 100%-owned Beacon Gold Mill by early 2026, with over 50 drill targets identified through geophysical surveys and soil sampling.
To support its project funding and expansion, LaFleur has brought on Peter Espig as Strategic Advisor, leveraging his expertise in capital markets and mill operations. The company is in advanced talks with institutional and private equity groups to secure the estimated C$5–6 million needed for the Beacon Mill restart, which is expected to generate near-term cash flow through bulk sampling and toll milling.
The Swanson Gold Project covers about 16,600 hectares near Val-d’Or, Québec, with road access and a rail line through the property, enhancing its development potential. The Beacon Gold Mill, capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day, may also serve custom milling operations for nearby gold projects, underscoring LaFleur's commitment to advancing district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt.
