Award-winning production designer Hojin Lee has been chosen to helm the creative direction for HangZ's annual holiday commercial series, focusing on Halloween and Christmas campaigns that emphasize the company's innovative hanging hardware solutions. Lee, celebrated for her groundbreaking work in film, music videos, and theater, is set to direct two unique commercials: "Trick or Treat OR...HangZ" for Halloween and "Santa's Workshop" for Christmas. These advertisements are poised to premiere across various digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Google Ads.
The Halloween commercial, under the direction of Benjamin T. Popkin, will depict a haunted mansion adventure where children discover decorations all securely hung with HangZ products. Meanwhile, the Christmas campaign will turn a living room into a festive wonderland, highlighting the adaptability of HangZ's hardware in holiday decorating. Lee's methodology revolves around crafting engaging settings that position HangZ's products as indispensable for decoration, involving themed set designs, prop management, and teamwork with directors to enhance product visibility and narrative depth.
HangZ, generating $3.7 million annually, is known for its picture hanging solutions sold at leading retailers such as Home Depot, Walmart, and Lowe's.
