Brilla Media, a Miami-based media company, has introduced a new logo and website as part of its rebranding efforts, coinciding with its third year of operations. This move signifies the company's intensified focus on Latino cultural storytelling and digital innovation. CEO Angela Sustaita-Ruiz highlighted the company's growth from its inception to becoming a multifaceted media organization, leveraging advanced advertising technology to serve its audience better.
The company's flagship platforms, Nuestro Stories and Minivela, stand at the forefront of its strategic initiatives aimed at enriching Latino digital content. Nuestro Stories boasts a vast digital portfolio with thousands of stories that delve into Latino heritage across various sectors such as food, fashion, music, landmarks, and cultural icons, all while maintaining a commitment to storytelling that goes beyond political narratives.
In an innovative stride, Brilla Media collaborated with actor Carlos Ponce and technology partner Numatec to launch Minivela, the first digital shorts platform tailored for the U.S. Hispanic market. This initiative is designed to open up new avenues for Latino creatives, including directors, writers, producers, actors, and influencers, fostering a vibrant community of storytellers.
Further expanding its digital footprint, Brilla Media has partnered with Creator Sports Network to develop VibraStream, a cutting-edge platform set to transform live sports coverage for younger audiences. This collaboration is strategically timed to leverage the excitement around the 2026 World Cup, offering a unique viewing experience that resonates with the Latino community.
Co-founder Manny Ruiz reiterated that despite the company's advancements in advertising technology and influencer solutions, its essence lies in the power of storytelling. As a certified women-owned Minority Business Enterprise, Brilla Media continues to lead in multicultural media and content creation, showcasing the limitless possibilities of Latino-focused digital platforms.
