Forever Network has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 24th position in ComScore's US Media outlet rankings, a testament to its rapid growth and the effectiveness of its expansion strategy. This achievement not only places the company among media titans such as Warner Bros, Walt Disney, and Comcast but also establishes it as the eighth top sports media company, alongside the NBA, NFL, Barstool Sports, and WWE. The network's success is largely due to its strategic expansion into new sports verticals, including football, baseball, and hockey, which have significantly boosted its engagement metrics.
Alex Sumsky, CEO and co-founder of Forever Network, highlighted the importance of this ranking, stating it validates the company's efforts since establishing a North American presence earlier this year. The network's new verticals, such as Football Forever, Dugout Forever, and Hockey Forever, have already amassed hundreds of millions of impressions, showcasing the brand's ability to captivate audiences across different sports. With plans to launch a soccer vertical in July, Forever Network is poised for further growth, aiming to exceed eight billion impressions by year's end.
The company's ascent in the media rankings follows a successful $4 million Series A funding round, which has supported its North American expansion and the development of new content verticals. Additionally, Forever Network is preparing to introduce proprietary games, including V.O.A.T., Hot Hands, and Streaker, later this year. Starting with Basketball Forever in 2015, the network has grown into a leading sports news and culture platform, achieving 3.9 billion yearly impressions and reaching 105 million unique visitors monthly.
Forever Network's entry into ComScore's Top 25 US Media rankings marks a significant achievement in its journey, validating its innovative approach to sports content and its ability to compete with established media giants. This milestone reflects the changing dynamics of the digital sports media landscape, where independent brands like Forever Network are increasingly influential, offering fans new ways to engage with their favorite sports.
