The Swissnet Group has established a long-term partnership with fitness chain EVO Fitness to serve as its strategic rollout and network infrastructure partner across Germany. Following a selection process managed by consulting firm scoreready, Swissnet will modernize existing infrastructure and provide redundant connectivity for all current and future EVO Fitness locations. This collaboration represents a significant investment in digital infrastructure for the fitness industry, enabling technological capabilities that support both operational efficiency and enhanced member experiences.
For 2026, the project includes modernizing IT infrastructure in 13 existing fitness studios while supporting the opening of 10 additional clubs. EVO Fitness plans continued expansion with approximately 10 new studios annually at attractive locations throughout Germany. The rollout of new technical infrastructure has already commenced, with all studios receiving standardized, state-of-the-art network architecture. This includes customer Wi-Fi that enables operation of innovative fitness equipment, digital access controls, video surveillance, and digital signage solutions. Each studio site will be connected redundantly to ensure maximum reliability, with Swissnet providing both primary internet lines and additional 5G backup solutions.
A central component of the collaboration is the delivery of all services as a managed service, which reduces initial project costs while ensuring reliable operations through centralized monitoring and continuous service support. This approach underscores the long-term partnership between the companies and provides EVO Fitness with predictable operational expenses as they expand. Further joint projects are already being planned, including a standardized, centralized video surveillance solution with enhanced analytics functionalities to optimize operations and customer experience.
