Once on the moon, they can be filled with lunar regolith — the loose soil and rock covering the lunar surface — to create protective barriers around living quarters. This approach significantly reduces the need to launch heavy shielding materials from Earth, cutting costs and logistical challenges for lunar missions. The company holds patents related to the Rego-Brix concept and has stated its intention to make the technology available on a royalty-free basis, potentially accelerating its adoption by space agencies and private companies.
