Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is set to reopen its Colorado Springs location at 5856 Barnes Rd. on September 15 under new corporate ownership. The 1,433-square-foot restaurant had been closed, but its relaunch marks a fresh start for the brand in the community. The reopening is the first step in a broader revitalization plan for the area, with the Cheyenne Road location slated to follow.
The move back to Colorado Springs is significant for local fans of the chain's premium sandwiches. Capriotti's is known for its slow-roasted, hand-pulled Butterball turkey and award-winning cheesesteaks. The Barnes Road menu will feature fan favorites like The Bobbie, which was voted "Greatest Sandwich in America," and the Classic Cheesesteak, an official member of the Cheesesteak Hall of Fame. The lineup also includes the new Cooper Sharp Cheesesteak, available for a limited time, and a full selection of subs made with ultra-premium American Wagyu from Snake River Farms.
